Glenavon Nurseries

Glenavon Vine Nursery Pty Ltd is a family business producing vines for the Australian wine industry, owned and operated by Mark and Annette Cleggett, at Bremer Road Langhorne Creek South Australia.

Our aim is to provide a quality service to a wide range of customers in South Australia and the Eastern States, utilising the best available vine material at competitive prices.

We have grown field dormant rootlings and grafted vines for 15 years at Langhorne Creek. The vines are grown in virgin soils to minimise the risk of soil born diseases.

Our propagation material is purchased from the South Australian Vine Improvement Committee wherever possible.

We incorporate traceback systems and employ an ampelographer annually to check our material is true to type. We are an VINA accredited nursery.

Glenavon Nurseries can propagate a wide number of varieties and clones.

Propagation of your own material can be arranged.

We are one of the largest nurseries in South Australia, employing up to 25 people in our busiest periods.

Grafted vines can be supplied using a wide choice of a rootstock to suit you specific environment. To assist you to determine the appropriate rootstock for your vineyard we have compiled a Rootstock Guide.
